Nurture Your Soul by Exploring Your Local Environment

Nurture Your Soul by Exploring Your Local Environment

After a busy week, compounded by 2020 challenges, it’s so important to take a break from the sometimes narrow worlds we find ourselves in—home offices get small, living spaces feel claustrophobic, and worry can make goals seem out of reach. Nature is a car-ride or long walk away. Familiar places are great but if I’m tired of the familiar, I look for local places I’ve never been to, maybe in a different town or even several blocks over. Treasures await—parks, farm-stands filled with fall produce, apples to make pie with, (or pies to buy), leaves bursting with color, nice cool weather, and the beaches without crowds—social distancing is so much easier!

Sometimes I’ll go on my phone map app and look for green spaces near my house.  I have been surprised at the places I didn’t know existed! I love finding spaces of beauty, peace and fun to experience.

Hope you find some local treasures of your own! #borntonurture #nurtureyoursoul
