As the father of three kids, one thing I have learned is everything always changes. No matter how much you may plan, it will always change. Between school, sports and chauffeuring , adapting is the key to success.

Much like work, from my teenage years spending summers cutting lawns on Long Island, to my time in the water utility industry, and now to my almost two years here at John Mini, nothing stays the same.

As I finish my first full year as Yard Supervisor working with purchasing, exterior install, projects and holiday teams, I always want to ensure their materials and needs are met. From scheduling, to deliveries, to storage and maintenance and loading, some or all of these can change at a moment’s notice. To be able to roll with these changes is important and something I want to continue to improve upon.

Adapting to change is a very important piece to succeed........ as long as it’s by the 2pm cut off!
